Remington launch new 783 bolt-action rifle
Launched at this year’s CLA Game Fair by Edgar Brothers, the Remington 783 rifle features a black synthetic stock which contains a high nylon fibre content, giving it superior strength and rigidity.
It also features a precision button-rifled barrel, measuring around 22 inches.
For shot control, the hand-assembled 783 is equipped with the crisp new CrossFire™ trigger system that’s user adjustable to suit preferences.
Weighing around 7lbs, the rifle features a steel detachable magazine with a steel latch.
Standard calibres have a four-round capacity and magnum calibers hold three rounds.
Remington’s senior product manager, John Fink, commented: “We build the best bolt-action rifles out there today and the 783 is going to see us into the next 50 years. We have very talented people that know how a rifle is supposed to fit, feel and function. This is one of the most accurate rifles available.”
The Remington 783 rifle is available in .270, .30-06, .308 and 7mm Rem Mag.
