Meet the top brands at the World Gunmakers’ Evening in November
The ideal place to meet the people behind the brands
The World Gunmakers’ Evening will take place on Wednesday 9 November at The Armoury House, in the City of London. It gives the gun-buying public the ideal opportunity to meet the specialists behind the top brands, ask questions and discover what the future of gunmaking may hold.
Elegant, intimate evening
Originally founded in 2015, the event brings together the very best gunmakers and shooting brands from around the globe, together with 500 guests for an elegant and sociable evening of canapés and champagne.
Confirmed gunmakers in attendance include: James Purdey & Sons, William Evans, William Powell, John Dickson, Browning International, EJ Churchill, Stephen & Son as well as specialist auction houses Bonhams and Holts. Bannister Rods will be displaying their exquisitely engraved fishing reels and Fine Shooting Accessories will be showcasing their new range of leather gun cases.
This year, the headline sponsor is Whisky Partners, who lead the way in cask ownership, bringing the practice into the 21st century and helping investors start and manage their portfolios. Other sponsors include INEOS Grenadier and James Hallam insurance brokers. The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust is the official charity for 2022.
Perfect venue
The venue could not be more suitable. The Armoury House is a listed 18th century manor house and home to The Honourable Artillery Company. The World Gunmakers’ Evening will be held in The Prince Consort Rooms, an impressive vaulted-ceiling former drill hall. Event director James Gower commented: “Our smart venue certainly strikes the right note and will be a real draw. This hugely popular event always sells out in record time so we have doubled capacity this year from 250 to 500, so more guests can attend. This year’s event will showcase more gunmakers than ever from all four corners of the globe, so if you are in the market for a new shotgun or rifle this is the ideal event to meet the people behind the brands and start that exciting journey.”
Catered by Searcys, the quality of the canapés and champagne will be excellent.
Tickets are available for The World Gunmakers’ Evening here at £120 per person. As mentioned, in previous years it has been a sell-out, so don’t delay in applying.
