RSPCA still under investigation
The Charity Commission (CC) is still looking at the actions of the RSPCA following allegations of “bullying tactics”, and confirmed that it is contacting other groups to look into their dealings with the charity. But the RSPCA claimed that there was no ongoing case against it.
The CC was originally looking into the actions of the RSPCA surrounding the badger cull, after the charity threatened to “name and shame” those who authorised the cull.
In August, the CC said it concluded that the RSPCA did not support the intimidation of farmers, leading the charity to publish a statement saying it had “a clean bill of health”.
