New London shooting fair announced
The inaugural London Wing Shooting Fair will be held in Islington in March 2018.
A brand-new shooting show is coming to the capital next year with the launch of the first annual London Wing Shooting Fair.
Held at the Business Design Centre in Islington on 23-24 March 2018, the show will run alongside the existing London Fly Fishing Fair in a neighbouring hall on the same dates. The entry fee grants access to both fairs and will allow enthusiasts of one sport the chance to learn about the other.
Leading industry experts
The London Wing Shooting Fair will feature industry experts hosting workshops, debates and discussions, while BASC will give guests the chance to try their shooting simulator. The hall will also host the best in fieldsports clothing and kit, with shopping opportunities from brands such as William Evans, Edgar Brothers and William Powell Sporting.
The shows are the brainchild of co-founders John Kelley and his son Fergus Kelley, who said. “I suppose the inspiration for the Wing Shooting Fair started off with the success of the London Fly Fishing Fair. That launch’s success really motivated us to try and maintain the same enthusiastic reception for the Wing Shooting Fair and to do so with the same philosophy of promoting the sport and lifestyle by using the leading influencers in that sport.
“We want to offer a variety of shooting products and services that suit everyone at every level and with a variety of different price ranges. We want to have an assortment of talks and seminars so that everyone can learn something new about the different aspects of the sport.”

Bringing two communities together
John explained: “We are really excited to see the community of flyfisherman and shooters come together in one place and embrace their sport with like-minded people.
“This upcoming year we have worked hard to make the talks and demonstrations even more interesting and varied than last year to give something different to what you would usually see at the other fairs around the UK.”
