Mat has been passionate about shooting and the countryside since childhood. He began his journalism career working on newspapers and has been a regular contributor to numerous fieldsports titles for more than 20 years.

Bill Harriman

Bill Harriman is Director of Firearms for the British Association for Shooting and Conservation. An internationally recognised authority on firearms and the law relating to them, he is also a firearms forensic examiner who regularly gives expert evidence in the courts. He is also known to millions of TV viewers as an arms and militaria expert on the BBC programme, Antiques Roadshow.

Bruce Potts

Bruce Potts regularly reviews rifles, ammunition and stalking equipment

Bruce Potts has over thirty years’ experience as a shooter and wildlife photographer. He regularly writes and reviews for Shooting Times, covering subjects including air rifles, rimfire, centre-fires and reloading, to rifle and product testing and hunting features.
